World Bowls Series Number 1 - Emily Kernick

Solihull's Emily Kernick is making waves across the world of bowls. After success in the Indoor World Championships Emily has now picked up 2 gold medals at the Outdoor British Bowls Championships to lift her to number 1 on the World Bowls Series Rankings.

What makes it even more special for Solihull IBC is that other club members were Emily's team mates.

After winning the English Outdoor National Fours last summer Michelle Meadowcroft (Emily's Mum and member at SIBC), Ellie Hamblett and Kirtsy Richards headed to Llandrindod Wells full of confidence. Playing superb bowls throughout the event the quartet came away victorious to be crown British Champions.

Not one to just win one title Emily then teamed up with Lily-Mae Adams (also an SIBC member) to lift the Junior Pairs title after they picked up the English National Title for the second year running.
