Half Price Sessions Now First Come First Served from 9am Same Day

Half price sessions have become very popular, and demand for rinks is now higher than the number of spaces available. To keep the booking process clear and fair, we are introducing a first come first served system for all half price sessions.

From now on, rinks for half price sessions can only be booked from 9am on the same day. No advance bookings will be accepted.

Please also avoid leaving a message on the answering machine for these bookings, as messages may not be picked up in time and cannot guarantee a rink.

Rinks will now be booked on the day of the half price session.

Why the booking system is changing

The half price sessions have proved extremely popular. That is good news, but it also means the old way of taking bookings is no longer working as smoothly as it should.

When demand is high, advance bookings can fill spaces before many people have a fair chance to enquire. Some people may miss out simply because they did not know they needed to book far ahead. Others may leave answerphone messages and assume their space has been held, only to find the message was not reached before the session filled.

Number of players on a Rink

Due to the popularity of our half-price sessions, bookings of fewer than four people per rink may be joined by other members.

This helps us give as many members as possible the opportunity to enjoy these popular sessions, while also making the best use of the available rink space.
