Membership Renewals 2026/2027

As we reflect on the 2025/26 season, we would like to thank you for your continued support and loyalty to the club. We are proud to say that the past year has been one of the most successful in the club's history, both on and off the green. This achievement would not have been possible without the commitment of our members, volunteers, players, and supporters, all of whom have contributed to making the club what it is today.

While we are extremely proud of what has been accomplished, we are equally excited about the future. Our ambition is not simply to maintain these standards but to build upon them. We are committed to ensuring that the club continues to grow, develop, and thrive for the benefit of all members. We believe the foundations are in place for another successful season and look forward to welcoming you back as part of that journey.

You will shortly receive your membership renewal notice and details on how to pay. You can also pay online by using this link. https://buy.stripe.com/7sY5kD2KcdDo1Rh25p08g0g

Investing in the Club's Future

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the club, we will continue to invest in our facilities and enhance what we can offer our members. Over recent years, significant improvements have been made throughout the club, and we intend to continue this programme of development wherever possible.

Our aim is to provide a welcoming, modern, and enjoyable environment for members, their families, and visitors. Whether this involves improving facilities, enhancing member services, investing in technology, or creating new opportunities for social and sporting activities, we are always looking for ways to make the club even better.

We recognise that some of the best ideas come from our members. If you have any suggestions, feedback, or ideas on how we can improve the club, we would be delighted to hear from you. Your views are invaluable in helping shape the future direction of the club and ensuring that we continue to meet the needs and expectations of our membership.

Membership Costs & Rink Fees

After careful consideration, the club has made a small increase to membership and rink fees for the coming season. Annual membership will increase from £90 to £95, and 2-hour rink sessions will increase from £5 to £6. One-hour rink fees will remain unchanged.

These changes have been kept as modest as possible and are necessary due to rising operating costs, including utilities, maintenance, insurance, staffing, and general running expenses. The additional income will help ensure that we can continue to invest in our facilities, maintain the high standards expected by members, and support the long-term sustainability of the club.

However, members can effectively offset this increase by taking advantage of our top-up bonus scheme. By topping up your account online, you will receive additional free credit:

  • Top up £25 and receive an extra £5 free credit

  • Top up £50 and receive an extra £10 free credit

Members who prefer not to top up online can still add credit to their account at the club. Please note that account top-ups can only be processed through the club office and cannot be completed at the bar. If you require assistance with setting up your online account, making a payment, or topping up your balance, please see Tom or Becky, who will be happy to help

When this bonus credit is taken into account, the cost of a 2-hour rink session effectively remains at the previous season's rate, providing excellent value for members who use the online booking and payment portal. The bonus credit can be used for all bowling activities, making online top-ups the most cost-effective way to enjoy the club's facilities throughout the season.

New ANPR Parking System

To further improve our facilities, the club will be introducing an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) parking system ahead of the new season.

The ANPR cameras will automatically record vehicles entering and leaving the club grounds, helping us to better manage parking facilities, improve security, and ensure that parking spaces remain available for members and authorised visitors. The new system will also reduce the need for manual monitoring and provide a more streamlined experience for members using the club's car park.

To ensure the system operates effectively from day one, it is essential that all members provide the registration numbers of any vehicles they use when visiting the club. These vehicle registrations will be added to the ANPR database and recognised as authorised vehicles.

If you regularly use more than one vehicle, please ensure that all registration numbers are provided. Likewise, if you change your vehicle during the season, you must notify the club so that your details can be updated. Failure to register a vehicle may result in it not being recognised by the system, which could lead to parking restrictions or enforcement measures being applied.

A section has been included with your renewal documentation for you to provide your vehicle registration details. We would appreciate your cooperation in returning this information as soon as possible to help ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

There will be clear signage displayed throughout the car park explaining the parking arrangements and any charges that apply. However, members will not be required to take any action when visiting the club, provided their vehicle registration details have been registered with us in advance. The ANPR system will automatically recognise authorised member vehicles upon arrival.

Visitors to the club will also be able to benefit from free parking by registering their vehicle on arrival using the dedicated tablet located at the bar. By entering their vehicle registration number into the system, visitors will activate their free parking period and avoid any parking charges. We encourage members to make guests aware of this requirement when bringing visitors to the club to ensure they enjoy a hassle-free visit.

Thank you once again for your support and commitment to the club. We look forward to welcoming you back for what we hope will be another memorable and successful season.
